About Us

Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86-bed freestanding hospital offering comprehensive psychiatric care for adults and adolescents. Centrally located in Littleton, near downtown Denver, the facility is easily accessible to families throughout the Front Range and just minutes from surrounding communities.

All clinical services are delivered by qualified mental health professionals and each patient is given a comprehensive evaluation by an inter-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, primary care physicians, nurses, mental health associates, masters' level clinicians, occupational and recreation therapists, and dietician.

Substance abuse issues and secondary problems stemming from addictive behavior are addressed with special dual diagnosis programming and medical detoxification as necessary.
