Summer Enrichment CAMP
Highlands Behavioral Health System offers our Summer Enrichment CAMP (Child/Adolescent Mental Health Program) to middle and high school students, ages 11 through 18 in the Denver metro area. Occurring Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the program provides partial hospitalization treatment from a team of licensed, master’s-level clinicians.
Using treatment modalities such as group therapy, multi-family groups, medication management and experiential therapy, the program is able to address a number of issues including:
- Feelings identification
- Learning and practicing coping skills
- Healthy relationship characteristics
- Coping with bullying
- Social media
- Gossip and rumors
- Anxiety and depression
In addition to treatment, adolescents partake in fun activities such as pizza parties, karaoke and visits from special guests. Lunch is provided daily.
